A Very Wii Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at the MIL's with Lancelot's (Salty's brother) family. Cab even decided to join us. (I guess he knows what side his bread is buttered on, if he wants to get Christmas gifts.) We exchanged gifts with everyone and Lancelot's family got us a Wii Play game. MIL insists on buying everyone a thousand $6-10 items and she is always good for a watch. And even though we beg her not to buy clothes for us, several clothing items find their way into the gift bag. She is so sweet and works so hard to please everyone. I think next year I will suggest a family "Southwest" gift card. It would be a better fit. We had a nice time visiting and should make some plans for more visits during the year. We didn't get home until after 1 am and we all decided to sleep in a little and get up at 10 am.
Cab came and woke me up at 9, he couldn't wait to open presents. You would think that he is 8 and not 18. We bought a Wii and Wii Fit for our fat selves and a Zelda game. Salty got me the Wii DDR and Cab got us some Wii rechargable battery packs and accessories. I think Nintendo and the gaming manufacturers got a big chunk of this family's Christmas money. Now, if I can only get on a schedule and actually use it.
The rest of the day was spent lazing about. I took Cab to is paternal relatives house for Christmas dinner. Salty and I ended up eating pre-grilled hamburgers and chips and just chilling. That was, until we started Wii'ing.
And how was your day?

  1. Have you entered your stats on the Wii Fit yet? I am afraid, it tells you your BMI and if you are normal weight, overweight or obeise and when you don't come back everyday, it questions where you have been. Pretty cool though. FTLK has been using it everyday, I have yet to try. I would like to do it when no one is around to laugh!!

You can really lose alot of weight with the Wii Fit if you use it on a regular basis. Have fun with it.

  3. I love our Wii...only I haven't used the Wii fit as much as I have wanted and this is why...

Because I made my Wii girl so pretty cute and petite, like I've always wanted to be, then when I got on the Wii Fit...it made my Wii cute girl into a frumpy fat one!

So I have taken some time off of the Wii! :)
