The eves before the Eve

It was crazy trying to get everything ready and I was really hoping to have all my shopping done and bake some peanut butter and gingerbread cookies and make some pecan pralines on Tuesday night to take for Christmas Eve.

Salty decided that we were going to move furniture all night and get the TV all hooked up in the newly finished den. When he gets a wild hair, people, the world stops.

Needless to say, there was no last minute shopping for me. By the time we got the 10,000 pound wall unit moved and the TV installed, it was 11:00 and I still needed to wrap ALL the presents. I would just like to take a moment now and ask, why the hell does the woman always get stuck wrapping all the gifts? I did make him hook up the Wii console while I was wrapping. You know, since the TV had to be re-wired to all the components, anyway. (shhhh....I played explored a little Wii before I went to bed.)

Did everyone get all their pre-Christmas, holiday rushing completed? I swear, next year I am starting before Halloween. Can you all remind me?

    And to answer your question...I have NO idea why we get stuck wrapping...when you find out let me know!

    I love that you played with the Wii before anyone else..I bet that was gratifying!

    I swear, I am going to do online wrapping classes for all to send to their significant others. I may even sell a gift wrapping sample kit.
    It is just not fair!!!!
    I bet MSM wraps, he is darn near close to perfect. (and so stinkin' cute) ;)
