We had a respite from the floors this evening and went over to a friend's house for dinner. Four couples that have known each other for years. It was pretty funny because we ended up playing Pictionary. Guys against the girls. The girls got creamed, but the boys were kinda cheating. They were looking at the girls' pictures and guessing the right answer! There was lots of fighting and rule consulting.
We had fun but now my head is hurting from all the yelling. Plus all the little kids were getting involved and loud. I was kinda go with the flow but some of those guys, cheese whiz, are so competitive. Salty would say that is a good thing. I am not so sure. I wish we could all get together more often, but they all still have little kids (2 or more) and are super busy. My one kid is not so little anymore. He just graduated from high school!
Well, that is all there is tonight, I have to get up early to start on the floors again. Ciao

ReplyDeleteI remember a party long ago in my little single-girl apartment, whennthe neighbors came to ask us to close the patio door - we were yelling at each other too loud while playing PICTIONARY!

Yeah Lori - you are my very first positive actual comment! It was SOOO fun but the guys were cheating and being sticklers for the exact rules. LOUD! Thanks for the comment and your blog is great!
